Lord of the Flies
Chapter 11 “Castle Rock”
Perspective: Me

1. Piggy told Ralf to blow the conch to assemble everyone, despite the fact that there were only four big ones.
2. Piggy's reason for Jack to give back his glasses is because it is the right thing to do, and the reasonable thing to do. Instead, Jack's tribe kills Piggy.
3. Ralf declares that they will arrive as gentlemen, and that Jack cannot refuse them their will.
4. The guards challenge them, claiming that they're leader, Jack, had told them not to let them passage.
5. Jack appears after the group of Ralf, Piggy, and Sam and Eric, consult the guards. He was hunting.
6. Ralf calls Jack a thief, which started the fight.
7. Sam and Eric both get tied up by Jack and then get tortured.
8. Rodger purposely put all his weight on the lever, throwing a large boulder at Piggy. This knocks Piggy off the cliff and Piggy dies.

Who killed Piggy??
I think it is obvious that Rodger killed Piggy. For instance, Rodger was in-charge of the lever, which could tip the rock. Rodger put all his weight on the lever and tipped the rock which came hurling down towards Ralf, who dodged it, and then hit Piggy. This proves my claim because it is obvious that Rodger is at fault for the boulder that killed Piggy. Jack is not at fault because he didn't tell Rodger to kill Piggy, that was Rodgers own doing. So in all, Rodger killed Piggy because he dropped the boulder which hit him. Rodger may have done so with a delirious joy, and with truculently. In this chapter the conch was also destroyed. The conch is similar to a talisman, in that it has mystical powers. On Piggy's decent to the ocean, from the top of the cliff, he never had a cessation.
