Post 3 -- In Class

Question: Pretend you have special powers and are able to transform yourself into your book. Where would you put yourself and why? How would you being in the book change the story? Remember you are yourself in the book, not a character.
Response: If I had special powers, and could put myself into my book, Physics of the Impossible, I would place myself in the sequence at the sequence were he mentions star wars. The reason for this is, is that I would narrate the begging of stars wars. "DA-DAA-DUT-DUT-DUT-DAA-DA-DUT-DUT-DUT-DAA-DA-DUT-DUT-DUT-DUHHHH!!"
I just thought it would be an interesting thing to do. This book doesn't have any characters so I had a hard time with this question. This book is essentially narrative and explanations. I don't think the amount of time I would spend in the book would matter, except that I would most likely annoy the reader with random effects every time they see a certain word or phrase.
Question 2:If you could write to the author of your book, what would you write? Share what you like so far and what you don't like. Give a suggestion to make the book better.
Response: I love this book because it explores topics that are radical, so called impossibilities. Better yet he thoroughly explains everything he talks about. What I like about the book so far is the way he explains things. I enjoy the fact that he gives a top down and bottom up approach to each impossibility. He makes you think.
If I could make a suggestion to the author, Michio Kaku, it would be to explain the basic principles of Quantum Physics. If he had explained this, it would be a bit easier to understand some of the science involved, not that he doesn't already do a great job.
