Lord of the Flies
Chapter 6: “Beast from Air”
Character: Piggy
The sign thats comes down from the grown-ups, is a man who has been ejected from his seat, and is no parachuting down to earth. He may be dead, due to the fact he remained motionless throughout his decent. Their may have been guano where he landed.
The boys were not aware of this incident because they were asleep at the time. This is the reason why. Mutiny may be committed by those siding with Jack.
Sam and Eric are so terrified because they think that they are being chased by the beast. They hear strange sounds and are completely under the impression of being chased.
The twins described the beast as; fury, something behind it's head, wings flapping, sitting straight up, eyes, teeth, and claws. The twins are embroiled in a conflict with good and evil. Their conflict may continue interminably.
The aptitude of the boys is normal, and disbelief. Simon in particular had disbelief.
There is not a beast. I know this because what they think is the beast, is actually a parachute. To think this is waxy.
I have only “one eye” because I cant see out of the other eye.

  1. Good job, but make it a little longer.

  2. It really make sense. They were sleeping when the aviator came down. There are a lot of maybes, and your kind of summarizing the chapter instead of putting Piggy's insights into it. It's a little choppy too, but I liked your sentence with the guano.
