Jem’ Response: I’m outraged at how racist these people are. They sided with Bob Ewell simply because he is white and Tim Robinson is black. It is just despicable.
Aunt Alexandria’s Response: Well, that was a peculiar case. Both men are absolute trash, and hardly deserve to live n the town of Maycomb. Bob Ewell give Maycomb a bad name. Weather Tom Robinson rapes that girl or not may never be known, but I still think he is not of our kind.
Dill’s Perspective: I didn’t understand half of went on in that curt room. All I can tell is that a man has possibly raped a women, and people are arguing over weather he did it or not. It makes so little sense to my under developed mind.
Miss Maudies Perspective: That was a down right shame to done what they did to that man. He was innocent. He is a good and honest man, and would never rape someone. Its that filthy Bob Ewell. He thinks he can make that mans life more miserable than his own by taking him to court. That man a shame to all of Maycomb.
Bob Ewells Response: I so happy I tricked them into thinking that nigger was rapping my daughter. That poor sucker is going to spend the rest of his life in jail, either that, or he’ll be put to death. Whichever way I’ve won.
